Over the course of the last year, Austin Reaves has transformed from one of the Los Angeles Lakers’ role players into one of the team’s stars.
And the third-year shooting guard’s portfolio has come to reflect his newfound status, as he has signed a number of endorsement deals in recent months.
Reaves’ latest deal comes in the form of a partnership with the popular golf and lifestyle apparel brand, TravisMathew. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, TravisMathew announced its new deal with Reeves with a promotional video showcasing his love of both golf and basketball.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we got Him,” the apparel brand wrote. “Welcome to the TravisMathew Family, Austin Reaves.”

Last summer, the 25-year-old Reeves became the first NBA athlete to sign with the Chinese shoe brand Rigorer. Following the launch of his AR1 signature shoe in October, he reportedly signed a multiyear seven-figure extension with the brand that will make him a shareholder in the company.
After going undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft, the Oklahoma product signed with the Lakers and quickly became a mainstay of Los Angeles’ rotation. Last offseason, he signed a four-year, $56 million contract to remain with the Lakers and has averaged 15.8 points and 5.4 assists while appearing in 56 games during the 2023-24 NBA season.
