Jahlil Okafor isn’t exactly known for his defense. That’s Karl Anthony Towns.
But his lack of respect on defense may not be for lack of trying. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Okafor saw someone coming with a play-sized basketball and could only assume there was a hoop behind him. Okafor then sprung to action and blocked the dunk attempt, and rather easily. There’s no way he’s going to be on the wrong end of a poster.
The guy who tried to dunk that was right. The block was pretty clean, and there probably would’ve been no foul call.
