Marc Spears of Y! Sports is reporting that the New Orleans Hornets will no longer be the New Orleans Hornets as early as tomorrow. After much speculation it seems that the team is going to announce that their new nick will be the ‘Pelicans’ and they will also release the new logo. The new colors for the Pelicans will be blue, gold and red. It should also be noted that the state bird of Louisiana is the Pelican.
