The Monday night game between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics took a heated turn (no pun intended) in the third quarter when Hassan Whiteside lost his cool against Kelly Olynyk.
Apparently, the elbow attempt at Olynyk’s face wasn’t enough to get the ref’s attention so Whiteside decided to shove his forearms right into the back of Olynyk’s neck.
The act earned Whiteside a flagrant-2 foul and he was ejected from the game. It’s difficult to argue with the call.
Olynyk would get the last laugh, as the Celtics would go on to win the game 100-90.
