Here’s a nearly-two-decades-old photo of Hakeem Olajuwon and Shaquille O’Neal riding bicycles as part of an ad campaign for Taco Bell’s Double-Decker Taco. The campaign ran in 1995 — shortly after Hakeem’s Rockets destroyed Shaq’s Magic squad in the NBA Finals. Part of the marketing hype included a one-on-one Pay-Per-View battle between the two centers, which Shaq would eventually bow out of, citing the fact he’d get curb-stomped by The Dream again injury.
In other news, the NBA season needs to start already.
