The Rockets went up by as much as 25 points last night, but things weren’t all fun and games. In the midst of a third quarter Warrior comeback, Dwight Howard swung an elbow at Andrew Bogut’s head, and received a flagrant one as a result.
Bogut might have pushed Howard first, but Howard definitely overreacted by leveling the Aussie with an elbow. Howard may have only been assessed a flagrant one, but that was about as close as one could get to a flagrant two — especially with that much contact.
Dwight Howard will not be suspended, league announces.

And after reviewing the play again, the league stuck with its call and decided not to suspend Howard for Game 5. I don’t know what the referees are watching, but that looked a lot like a cheap shot to me.
