Doc Rivers made an appearance on Dan Patrick’s morning radio show Friday to talk about the NBA Draft and his new Clippers team. Of course, DP asked Rivers’ about the awkward exchange of verbal jabs between ESPN’s Bill Simmons and the Clippers coach during the draft’s broadcast.
Rivers responded by calling Simmons “a fan” and questioning his qualifications to report on the NBA before saying that Simmons “ruined” the broadcast because of his agenda as a Celtics fan.
Pretty interesting comments by Rivers, and I’m sure Simmons will have his own response soon.
