Derrick Rose was forced to leave Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs early due to a left leg injury. The injury occured with just over a minute to play in the game with the Bulls leading comfortably. Chicago will be holding their collective breaths until they hear the extent of the injury. I am no doctor, but it did not look good. Rose is scheduled to have a MRI immediately.
NBC Miami is reporting that “Chicago Bulls PG Derrick Rose has torn ACL and MCL in left knee, will miss remainder of playoffs.” We will need more confirmation than that, but it is not a good sign.
