After Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins uploaded a photo to Instagram yesterday that sparked rumors that he would be releasing a R&B album under the stage name ‘Boogie Smooth,’ it turns out the whole thing was actually one big April Fool’s Day hoax. Except for the fact that, you know, IT’S NOT APRIL FOOL’S DAY YET.
In what might have been an early April Fool's prank, Kings say that DeMarcus Cousins is not putting out a R&B album called, "Boogie Smooth."

An “early April Fool’s prank” is nothing more than a lie, DeMarcus.
Sorry, I’m just upset because it all seemed so real to me.
Cousins tweeted out the above picture, claiming it was a sneak peek of his “new single” called ‘Emotional’ off of his new album, titled Misunderstood. The track (which we can presume is completely fake) listed Chance The Rapper – a very legitimate hip-hop artist – as a guest star, and also listed another track called “Big Fellas” featuring Rick Ross.
I don’t know about you, but the fact that this isn’t really happening is just all too much to bear. Thanks for nothing, DeMarcus.
Lets be honest, we all know I cant do any worse than @shaq @realchriswebber #boogiesmooth
