Carmelo Anthony went off for 50 points against an injured Miami Heat team Tuesday night, matching his career high in points.
Anthony went 18-26 from the field while committing zero turnovers, becoming the first player to score 50 points without committing a turnover in five years. Anthony’s performance helped the Knicks earn their ninth straight win as they cruised to a comfortable 102-90 victory.
Being that LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were both out with injuries, a lot of people will put an asterisk next to this performance, but it was still fun to watch.
Here’s Anthony’s postgame interview on his stellar performance.
