Bronny James has an inherent advantage as he prepares for the NBA, given that he is the son of NBA megastar LeBron James. That fact could lead to him getting drafted sooner than he otherwise would, but agent Rich Paul doesn’t think Bronny needs to apologize for that.
During a recent interview with Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, Bronny’s agent Rich Paul sounded off on those criticizing Bronny James making it clear that he doesn’t think Bronny has any reason to apologize for being the son of LeBron James.
“What do you think is going to happen with Jeff Bezos’ kids? He built Amazon. You think they’re not going to be positioned based upon what he’s built? And none of them should be apologetic about that,” Paul said in the interview with BleacherR Report. The only thing you can go by is being thankful, treating people a certain way and enhancing something that you were positioned for. They shouldn’t apologize for that. And Bronny shouldn’t apologize for who his dad is.”
Bronny is not considered one of the top prospects in the draft, but he is expected to be selected in the upcoming NBA Draft and could possibly unite with his father in the NBA.
