Matt Bonner has made a name for a himself as a sharpshooting big man on the NBA championship-winning, San Antonio Spurs. Brian Scalabrine, or the White Mamba as he was better known in his playing days, made a name for himself as the people’s champion. While that tells you nothing about his game, he lost in a game of knockout to the Spurs reserve big man.
I wouldn’t make much of the loss. The White Mamba was just out of practice or having a bad day. Catch him on a good one or even an okay one and he would have obliterated Bonner no problem.
