Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers wallet might be a little lighter after a spat with a fan on Thursday night.
Cameras caught Rivers chatting with someone courtside in the Staples Center as the Clippers were down big against the Utah Jazz. Austin, son of coach Doc Rivers, made a very NSFW comment, as cameras caught him clearly saying “I’m going to slap the shit out of you. Shut the fuck up.”

Thankfully, before things got out of hand, DeAndre Jordan stepped in and directed Rivers away from the fan.
It’s hard to say whether Rivers didn’t something wrong, as who knows what the fan said to him. Regardless, with the Clippers sputtering down the standings, it’s not a good look. Expect the NBA to fine him.
