J.R. Smith didn’t play very well in the NBA Finals, but that won’t stop him from opting out of his contract and looking for a longer, higher pay deal with the Cavaliers. The journey has been long for Smith, playing in the slums of the NBA for a while with the Knicks. But he soon found himself in Cleveland, playing with LeBron James, whom he developed a chemistry with, which should equal a payday for him.
But before Smith signs his next big paycheck, let’s remember all the wonderful reasons we love him.
Never forget that this is Smith’s world. We just get to live in it.
