College night at Petco Park quickly took a weird turn when the catcher receiving the first pitch turned out to be a day walker. Numerous folks dressed up like the walking dead then proceeded to do what zombies do: walk around like zombies. Don’t worry, this isn’t the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, just another fun trick teams do to get fans excited about being at the stadium.
The Padres won the game by a score of 6-3, lead by a triple and a home run from Pedro Ciriaco, who might as well have been a zombie this season before being dealt to the Padres from the Red Sox last week.
