Ever since Kendrys Morales shattered his leg celebrating a walk-off home run in 2010, the walk-off home plate-touhching celebrations have been very minimal and risk-free. After Yunel Escobar blasted a solo job to give the Nationals a 2-1 win over the Cardinals in the 10th inning on Tuesday night, he decided to add some flair to the walk-off celebration, but did so without increase risk of injury by sliding headfirst into home.
