Baseball is back, meaning the silly time-honored tradition of throwing back opposing home run balls is back. Opening Day featured a colossal fail on the part of one Yankees fan, who caught a third inning home run by Edwin Encarnacion. The home run put the visiting Toronto Blue Jays up 5-0, and the fan — doing her duty — attempted to toss the ball back on the field. It didn’t go very far, as it nailed a fellow Yankees fan instead.
Not a good omen on Opening Day.
