
If you are a fan of William Shatner’s voice and the Montreal Expos, then you are in for a real treat. The unlikely pairing has come to fruition courtesy of the MLB Network who announced on Wednesday that Captain Kirk will is slated to narrate an upcoming documentary focused on the Montreal Expos.
According to the Hollywood Reporter who broke the story:
William Shatner has been tapped to narrate The Colorful Montreal Expos, the baseball-focused network’s doc about the first MLB team located outside the U.S. The episode, set to air Jan. 26 at 9 p.m., is the next installment of MLB Network Presents.
Shatner, a Montreal native, will focus on how the unique culture, history and heritage of the team made it one of baseball’s most distinctive franchises. The team relocated to Washington, D.C., for the 2005 season.
As long as we get to see some Andre Dawson, consider us pleased.
