As a guy with plenty of power, Joey Votto often gets criticized for walking too much and not hitting enough homers. He silenced those critics Tuesday.
The Reds first baseman hit three home runs against the Philadelphia Phillies to reach a total of 13 homers on the season.

Thanks to Votto’s monster day, the Reds went on to beat the Phillies handily by a score of 11-2. It was a nice reminder for Votto haters that he can still hit the ball a long, long way.
