In the midst of a wild card race between two division rivals, things are bound to get testy, and that’s what happened on Monday night in Baltimore. Orioles manager Buck Showalter was visibly upset after seeing Yankees manager Joe Girardi talking to third base coach Bobby Dickerson. As heard by the commentators, the source of the friction was most likely sign stealing, but Showalter was less than thrilled that Girardi was not addressing him on the matter. Everyone settled down and it became not that big of a deal, but for a while there it looked like these two coaches would get into it.
The Orioles won 4-2.
