Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto was born in Toronto, Canada and is apparently pretty damn proud of that fact. During an interview with MLB Network’s “International Talk” yesterday, Votto donned a full Mountie uniform while answering questions from hosts Chris Rose and Kevin Millar.
The usually reserved Votto stayed in the Mountie character for pretty much the entire interview, joking about his duties and his horse named ‘Nibbles.’ It was pretty entertaining stuff.
