The wind was a little frantic on Tuesday night in Pittsburgh and the Pirates’ ground crew were forced to cover the field during the top half of the third inning. The attempt unfortunately did not go as planned, and the gusts of wind caused the crew to have to call out Andrew McCutchen and some other teammates to help them spread the tarp. As you can see by the video above, things actually got a bit scary when a member of the ground screw was caught in the tarp. Luckily, everything was worked out just fine.
The Pirates would go on to knock off the Padres by a score of 3-2. Cue the Benny Hill track!
