The Frisco RoughRiders—the Texas Rangers’ Double-A affiliate – had a surprise visitor crash their home opener in north Texas last night when a tornado came frighteningly close to the stadium’s outfield walls during their game against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
The scene created these incredible pictures, and surprisingly a lot of fans stuck around despite the approaching twister…those fans love minor league baseball a lot more than I do.
The game was eventually postponed and the RoughRiders will play a double-header against the Naturals today.
