This should serve as a solid public service announcement for little leaguers on how they should always be paying attention. On Sunday, the Phillies took on the Diamondbacks and during the 6th inning there was a slight miscommunication between catcher Cameron Rupp and his pitcher Sean O’Sullivan. As you can see from the video Sean looked away for a moment in disgust after throwing a poor pitch and Cameron Rupp didn’t realize this was happening. Rupp tossed the ball back to the mound and it nailed the unsuspecting Sean O’Sullivan right in the throat.
Ouch!
