Baseball seems to be becoming more of a young man’s game, with more and more prospects being called up everyday, as well as the comeuppance of young stars like Manny Machado, Bryce Harper, Mike Trout, and Yasiel Puig, who should all be in college. However, there are still some old-timers who are not only sticking around, but putting up big enough numbers to be relevant in baseball and to help their team win.
Here’s a look at these seasoned veterans still making a living playing baseball:
Torrii Hunter – 38
The Tigers’ right fielder is looking like he gets better with age, only just last year beginning to hit over .300. He is contributing greatly to his team’s success batting .308 with 13 HR and 60 RBI.
