The Florence Freedom of the Frontier League, which has no affiliation with the MLB, is looking to boost ticket sales with their latest promotion. They will be hosting a Manti Te’o Girlfriend Bobblehead Night on May 23rd, and “the collector’s edition bobblehead box will of course be empty.”

This Thursday, May 23, when the Florence Freedom take on the Schaumburg Boomers at University of Cincinnati Medical Center Stadium, the first 1,000 fans through the gates can get their hands on the famed Manti Te’o Girlfriend Bobblehead presented by 100.3 The Fan.
The collector’s edition bobblehead box will of course be empty.
Thursday night’s promotions will also include an air guitar contest, a pretend kiss cam, an imaginary food fight, and fans with imaginary friends, girlfriends/boyfriends or spouses are encouraged to sit in section 115, the section furthest down the left field line.
When economic times are rough, people can stoop to pretty much any level to make a dollar.
