April 7 will be the 25-year anniversary of The Sandlot (how has it really been that long?), and the Milwaukee Brewers decided to pay tribute to the coming-of-age baseball film in outstanding fashion.
Several Brewers players made excellent use of their Cactus League time and headed to the Maryvale, AZ backfields to recreate a classic scene from The Sandlot. Check it out:

The reenactment features…
- Christian Yelich as Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez
- Brett Phillips as Scotty (You’re Killing Me) Smalls
- Stephen Vogt as Hamilton “Ham” Porter
- Eric Sogard as Michae “Squints” Palledorous
- Hernan Perez as Alan “Yeah-Yeah” McClennan
- Jeremy Jeffress as Kenny Denunez
- Josh Hader as Bertram Grover Weeks
- Chase Anderson as Tommy “Repeat” Timmons
- Jett Bandy as Timmy Timmons
- Hank The Dog as The Beast
They all nailed it. Brilliantly done by the Brewers.
And you know you want to see it in comparison to the actual scene from The Sandlot:
