Mike Trout and his lookalike nephew star in an inspiring video the MLB network put together to open the MLB draft. The video features Trout’s nephew watching his highlights with a Trout narrative in the background. There’s also some actual Trout highlight footage mixed in, so that’s pretty cool.
The Angels drafted Trout with the 25th pick in the 2009 MLB draft straight out of high school. From there, he went on to become arguably the best player in baseball. I’d say they got the right guy if they wanted to make an inspirational video.
