It’s been a brutal season for the Miami Marlins, playing on the theme of a rebuilding year and the introduction of their “youth movement.”  Sunday’s game against the Tigers might be a preview of what’s to come, as Marlins pitcher Henderson Alvarez threw a no hitter to cap off a 62-100 campaign.  In a truly special moment for this squad, even more unique was how the game ended on a wild pitch walk-off.  What a great way to end the season on a high note for this growing team.
