Here’s a really close call from Tuesday night’s Marlins-Rays game in Miami that features a Giancarlo Stanton’s broken bat hitting teammate Casey McGehee in the on-deck circle. The bat came in hot but, fortunately for everyone, the sharp end missed the Marlins third baseman by a few inches, narrowly avoiding a potentially serious injury. Still, a pretty terrifying sequence.
