Given that the legend of Madison Bumgarner is quickly reaching that of a mythical figure, it’s only fitting that Bumgarner dressed up as a Paul Bunyan-esque figure for Giants spring training.
Bumgarner modeled the outfit (along with his ox friend) for the cover of the Giants’ official team magazine.

While the concept of having Madison Bumgarner role-play Paul Bunyan is pretty much perfect (after all, the man is essentially a full-time farmer who moonlights as a World Series MVP), I’m call foul on the ox. No Paul Bunyan cosplay can be considered complete without a giant blue ox named Babe.
Immersion, ruined.
