The Miami Marlins are a young team with a payroll that is the rough equivalent to one Vernon Wells and one Hiroki Kuroda. The Marlins are also not playing that terrible lately, posting a 24-21 record since June. They have some young, lively arms and some solid offensive pieces that may just turn this team into a contender sooner than everybody thinks.
Logan Morrison is a key cog in the Marlin Rebuild, once touted as the number 2 prospect in their system, Morrison has experienced some ups and downs to begin his career, but he should be a serviceable Major Leaguer as he progresses. LoMo as they call him, is also quite funny and has a big following on social media. Tweets like this one are evidence to why LoMo has become one of Baseball’s Must Follows.
We may be young but we’re talented. Great road trip to Denver. Camaraderie is at an all time high! pic.twitter.com/d4bpOYm61i
