Miami Marlins stud 21-year-old pitcher Jose Fernandez belted his first career home run Wednesday against the Braves, but it was not without some friction. As seen in the video, Braves third baseman Chris Johnson does some barking at Fernandez, who is subsequently accosted by catcher Brian McCann at the pate. Then of course, the benches clear. The Braves players apparently did not care for Fernandez’s pose/admiration of the home run ball, but do you think maybe they’re getting just a little too worked up? The kids 21, let him enjoy the moment. He’s no Puig.
