Joc Pederson is one of the most exciting players in baseball right now, and he showed another reason why on Wednesday.
With the Dodgers ahead 4-1, the 23-year-old rookie made a fantastic catch to rob Diamondbacks third baseman and fellow rookie Yasmany Thomas of a game-tying homer.
Pederson, who’s likely the frontrunner for the NL Rookie Of The Year award, also happens to have 17 homers on the season. His Dodgers went on to hold Arizona off 7-6.
