Jacob deGrom wasn’t at his best Thursday night, but he was good enough to help the Mets clinch an NLCS berth.
The Mets beat the Dodgers 3-2 in the nail-biter of a Game 5 matchup, and while deGrom didn’t have his best stuff, Mets pitching coach Dan Warthen explained how he still managed to get the job done.
