Ichiro has had a Hall of Fame career in the MLB, but today he did something for the first time. In the bottom of the 8th inning, in a game against the Phillies that does not mean a whole lot, the Marlins decided to let the veteran pitch for the first time in his career. As of writing this post, Ichiro got out of the inning but gave up a run and two hits in the process. Not too bad for a guy who had never picthed in the majors before.
