After a surprisingly impressive Spring Training, Grady Sizemore got the nod in center field for the Red Sox on Opening Day in Baltimore, where he homered in his second official at-bat since the 2011 season.
The 31-year old Sizemore, who has been forced to sit out the past few seasons due to injury, hadn’t hit a home run since July 15th, 2011 before belting one over the right field wall at Camden Yards in the fourth inning Monday.
