The Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox played a game on Wednesday in front of no fans, and you could almost hear a pin drop in the stadium. Gary Thorne who was announcing took advantage of the silence and channeled his best Jim Nantz impression to call Adam Jones’ at-bat in the bottom of the 7th in his Masters Golf Tournament voice. The result was spectacular as you can see from the above video.
It begs the question, what other sports could use Gary Thorne’s soothing voice?
