In the 7th inning of World Series game 5 a paper airplane ever so gracefully glided right onto the field. Everyone was impressed with the quality of the flying device, especially David Ross:
That thing glided in there, pretty good direction, nice airplane, nice big one. We were all talking about that. “That’s a nice throw. Where did that thing come from?” We were all kind of in awe. I don’t know what Jonny [Lester] thought. The home plate umpire, me and Yadi were all pretty impressed.
It was all laughs for the Red Sox as they beat the Cardinals at home to go up 3-2 on the series.
