The Nationals’ Dan Uggla had himself a bit of an embarrassing plate appearance in Washington on Thursday afternoon. In the box against the Mets’ Carlos Torres, Uggla found himself ethered by a hanging breaking ball right down the middle. The called strike three basically turned the second baseman’s knees into dust for some hilarious reason.
That’s gotta be one seriously humiliating walk back to the dugout.
