The Dad / Kid MLB video is becoming somewhat of a fixture during slow days in the sports blogging community. This one is slightly different because it’s not a dad making an impressive grab while holding his kid. This one comes from Wrigley field where they typically throw homerun balls from opposing players back onto the field. Foul balls are fair game though. This kid was given a ball from a nice fan, but dad made sure the kids didn’t throw the new souvenir away.
If the kid knew his Wrigley traditions and just got confused over homerun vs. foul ball, that’s actually pretty impressive intellectual horsepower for a youngster.
