Bud Selig and Major League Baseball have long been criticized for their reluctance to shift into the 21st Century and adapt emerging technologies. We now may have an explanation for that, as it appears pretty clear that Selig is still stuck in the year 2000.
While calling out the draft picks for the 2013 MLB Player Draft on Thursday, Selig repeatedly kept saying “the 2000 first-year player draft” – proving just how senile he really is. We can only hope that he discovers the Internet sometime soon.
