Holding batting gloves in your mouth while attempting to steal a base definitely seems counterproductive, but Bryce Harper doesn’t care.
During the first inning of Monday’s matchup between the Braves and Nationals, Harper stole second base while doing just that.
It probably isn’t the most efficient base-running strategy, but who are we to question Bryce? He’ll have Little Leaguers all around the country running with batting gloves in their mouths in no time.
