Aaron Hicks had himself a day at the ballpark on Monday. During the Twins’ 4-2 walk-off win over Baltimore, the Minnesota outfielder hit his second homer in as many games and saved another run with spectacular glove work.
During the fourth inning of a one-run ballgame and a man on first base, former Twin Chris Parmelee walloped a Phil Hughes pitch to deep left center. Hicks proceeded to make one of the more ridiculous catches you’ll see all season, one that had people reminiscing of Willie Mays’ legendary over-the-shoulder catch from 1954:
