It’s a long season, and we’ve seen before that anything can happen during the second half of the MLB schedule.
Some teams have greatly underperformed so far in 2015, but there’s enough talent on their rosters to keep them in contention moving forward. It won’t be easy, but here are five struggling teams that still could end up making things interesting in their respective divisions.
Boston Red Sox

Boston is miraculously just six games back in the tightly contested AL East despite a dreadful first half filled with pitching woes and underperforming offense. They’ve played much better baseball as of late and are sneaking their way closer to the top of the standings, but they need guys like Mike Napoli and Rick Porcello to figure it out if they’re going to make any sort of run.
