Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is the new spokesperson for Alaska Airlines, and in recognition of the partnership, the airline is offering passengers wearing Wilson’s #3 jersey priority boarding on flights out of Seattle from now until the end of the season. Of course, if the 12-2 Seahawks make it all the way to the Super Bowl, the promotion could be running for quite awhile.
Alaska ran a similar promotion for the Portland Timbers’ MLS team, which the airline is the main sponsor of. It didn’t lead to any log jams at the gate, and they don’t imagine it’ll be a problem in Seattle either.
