Holy crap.
There is only one thing better than a video that features role models acting like role models to make a kid’s day — that is when Australian role models act like role models to make a kid’s day.
The Melbourne Demons Australian Football Club and Virgin Australia really brought their A-Game by going above and beyond for Sydney Arnold on his birthday. Sydney’s father, Sam, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma so understandably his young son doesn’t have the easiest of lives. That’s where the Demons come in.
Sam reached out to the Demons and elaborated on his story and they decided to give Sydney the best birthday present imaginable. They showed up at his house, gave him a uniform, let him in their locker room for the game, and then had him accompany them out onto the field before they played.
And those accents, man.
