Impersonating a soldier: 1. Not the smartest thing to do, 2. there are some instances in which it’s just downright illegal, and 3. you run the risk of bumping into someone who knows their stuff.
Take this “Army Ranger”, for example, who wore his “uniform” in public and got called out by two veterans on a school campus. The vets get pretty impassioned, but can you blame them?
The confrontation resulted in a bad day for the impersonator, but a bad one for the veteran as well who was arrested shortly after for disturbing the peace.
Apparently it’s not illegal for that dude to wear a military uniform as long as he’s not reaping any benefits, so we’ll just have to settle with labeling him as a life-long loser.
