The Oakland A’s are scheduled to take on the Minnesota Twins today, but a brownout is putting the game in jeopardy. The electricity is working just fine at Oakland Coliseum however the plumbing is a whole different story. Raw sewage is flowing in the visitors dugout as well as the Athletics coaches’ bathroom and may soon threaten the coaches’ room.
Twins pitcher Glen Perkins was our man on the stinky scene and supplied this photo of the dire sh*tuation.

Meanwhile A’s catcher Kurt Suzuki supplied even more disgusting details.
Mike Gallego just walked by me, shaking his head, and said, "It's bad." Kurt Suzuki is yelling sewage coming out of faucets now. #Athletics

VP of baseball operations David Rinetti says that rain is to blame for the sewage issue. I guess when it rains, it poops in Oakland. Every pitcher is going to do their darnedest to stay in the game today so that they don’t have their manager telling them to “Hit the showers.”
