There’s an internet out there that most of us have never been to. It’s that deep, dark place where things happen that we are probably better off not knowing about. Atlantis, a new venture from…someone…has one of those websites. Users can, with the promise of full anonymity, purchase narcotics online. I’m not talking about fake weed, either. Want heroin? Atlantis has got you, brother.
The website Silk Road has been doing this since February 2011 but they don’t advertise. You have to get their web address from someone who knows it. Atlantis, tossing caution to the wind, has decided to emerge with a video made for what looks like a wholesome internet startup. They’ve done about half a million in business since March, so we’ll see how long this lasts.
